Overview of the Project

Balfour Beatty Communities is proud of its plan for Hunter AAF which began in November 2003.  In the first eight years, the following is planned:

267 homes will be demolished    
454 homes will be constructed    
221 homes will be renovated
2 community centers will be built   
4 tot lots/playgrounds will be installed
Project Construction Status

A total of 52 homes have been built in the brand new W1-W5, O1-O7 neighborhood of New Callaway. A state-of-the-art community center was constructed along with a spray ground and two new playground/tots lot have been installed.  Our plan for New Callaway has been completed.

In the brand new neighborhood of New Savannah for E7-E9, 54 homes have been built and a playground/tot lot has been installed.   Our plan for New Savannah has been completed.

A total of 232 old homes have been demolished and 250 homes have been built in the E1-E6 neighborhood of New Gannam.  Our plan for New Gannam has been completed.  A state-of-the-art community center with a spray park has been completed and is open.  Eight playgrounds/tot lots have also been constructed in this neighborhood. 

Project Renovation Status
Renovations continue in the neighborhood of Wilson Acres.  A total of 57 have been completed to date.  Renovations are determined on a house-by-house basis.  Exterior renovations may include: exterior cleaning, caulking, painting, addition of a covered entry porch, new roof, and landscaping.  Interior renovations may include: electrical upgrades, replacement of light fixtures, replacement of interior doors and hardware and bathroom remodeling.
